How to register

If you wish to request an Advance Adviser code and adviserNET access, please download the Adviser code/adviserNET access request form. Complete the entire form, attach a copy of your Dealer Authorisation/AFS Licence and fax to 08 9415 5944. Once your adviser code has been established, Dealer Services will notify you and send you a welcome email with your new adviser code.

If you have a current Advance BA or BD number and are requesting access to adviserNET, complete your existing Adviser/Dealer details on the adviserNET access request form together with the relevant adviserNET user information and fax to 08 9415 5944.

Online Services will send out a “welcome email” to new adviserNET users which contains their User Name. The user is instructed to call Online Services on 1800 731 800 to receive their password. Security reasons do not allow the password to be emailed.

When you logon to adviserNET for the first time you will be prompted to change your password to one of your own choice. Your new password will need to contain five or more letters in lower case and at least one number.

You’ll need your User Name and Password each time you use adviserNET, so make sure you store them in a secure location and do not disclose them to a third party.

To view the PDF file(s) you will need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.

How to log on

  • go to the online services box on the right-hand side of the Advance web-site, select adviserNET and click Logon; or
  • go to your Web Address for adviserNET

For those users that were previously accessing the old Advance adviserNET, simply continue to use your existing user name and password.

Enter your User Name and Password to logon to adviserNET.

On your first visit to adviserNET, you will also be required to read and accept the terms and conditions of use. You do this by reading through the information, then selecting ‘I agree’ and clicking the ‘Submit’ button at the bottom of the page.

Changing your password

To change your password, click on the Systems and Support link located on the side navigation panel and then click on the change password link, you will then be taken to the change password screen. For security reasons, you will be prompted on a regular basis to change your password.

System Requirements

adviserNET’s multi browser capability is optimised for Internet Explorer versions 5.0 – 6.0 and supported by Netscape versions 4.74 – 4.8 only. No additional hardware infrastructure is required to access adviserNET.

Navigation

There are several ways to navigate around adviserNET:

  • Fly Out Menus - displays sub-menu options as you move your mouse over the menus in the blue navigation bar.
  • Site Map - allows you to find and jump to any adviserNET screen quickly and easily. Simply click on the page you wish to access and go straight there.
  • Footprints - displays the navigation path taken to arrive at the current screen. Click on the bold Footprint links to access previous screens.
  • Home Page link - the home page can be accessed from within adviserNET screens by clicking on the Advance logo (top left hand) or the Home links on the Footprint Header and Footer.
