CBRE GRES was selected as an active manager within the Property Securities Multi-Blend Fund. Its combination of a top-down and bottom-up stock selection processes capturing undervalued securities, while paying particular attention to high quality, liquid property trusts with growing and sustainable income streams, gives us confidence in the manager generating competitive returns. The manager’s core strategy means the returns should be less volatile as it’s benchmark conscious. Another distinct advantage is that the group’s parent company CBRE is the largest real estate services company in the world, exclusively focused on public and private real estate services. These significant property research and analytical resources offer a potential competitive edge in the expected growth of the global REIT market, particularly in the less efficient markets.
