Daniel Chan, CEO and Chief Investment Officer
Daniel is the CEO and Chief Investment Officer. Daniel is a highly respected individual in the Singapore market and has been in the asset management industry for over 29 years, having spent 19 years as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of UOB Asset Management Ltd. From 2000 to 2004, he was also a Chairman of the Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS).
Daniel's focus is to continue to build and mentor a dedicated team of professionals who are capable of delivering 'alpha" within a disciplined framework.
Janet Liem, Head of the Asian equities team
Janet has a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Economics and Statistics) from the National University of Singapore and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of New South Wales. She has 21 years of investment experience, spending 12 years at UOB Asset Management prior to joining Lion Global Investors.
Janet leads the investment team in formulating the investment philosophy and process and is responsible for managing a dedicated team of 14 investment professionals who have on average over 10 years’ experience. The overall team consists of six country specialist analysts and nine sector specialist analysts.
